Art for Everyone

To transform a visit to our house into a special art experience, we offer a diverse programme for guests of all ages, for both the permanent and temporary exhibitions. Guests will set out on a fascinating journey through time and can experience the art and history of bygone eras in a whole new manner. The spotlight is turned on the pleasure of discovery and gaining an insight into well-known pieces. This is not only for children and teenagers, but also for adults who have retained their curiosity and their desire to discover.

Activity Room at the Staatliche Museum Schwerin

The Museum offers children their own space to discover art: drawing, building, stamping, sticking – it's all possible in the Activity Room. They can feel out unknown or create sound with pencil lines.

The activities on offer match the exhibition on display and are suitable for children age 5 to 10.
